Pipedrive is the CRM of choice for high-velocity sales teams — clean UI, fast setup, and a flexible automation engine. The one thing it doesn’t do well: tell your team about wins as they happen. PingBell fills that gap. Every deal-stage change becomes a sound on every team phone and a tick on the office TV.
What is PingBell?
PingBell is a web and mobile app that lets you create custom notifications for events on websites and apps — including Pipedrive. We don’t ship a native PingBell-Pipedrive OAuth app; we use Pipedrive’s built-in webhook automations to forward events to PingBell, which works just as well.
Step 1: Create a source in PingBell
Sign up. Visit PingBell.io and start a free trial. Sign in at my.pingbell.io, open the Sources page, and create a new source (custom webhook).
Configure it. Set a title and description that match the trigger (“Deal closed”, “New Opportunity”). Pick a sound from PingBell’s library. Invite teammates so they get the same alert on their own phones.
Edit later. Add more sources, or edit existing ones, from the Sources page at any time.
Step 2: Set up the trigger in Pipedrive
Pipedrive has webhook automations built in. You don’t need Zapier for this.
Open Automations. In Pipedrive, click the three dots in the left sidebar and select Automations.
Create a new webhook. In the automations area, choose Webhooks and create a new webhook.
Pick a trigger. Common picks: Deal added, Deal stage changed, or Deal won. Filter to a specific pipeline or stage if you want to count only certain transitions.
Copy your webhook URL. Back in PingBell, copy the source’s webhook URL from the Sources page.
Paste into Pipedrive. Paste the webhook URL into the webhook’s URL field and save.
That’s it. Test with a sample deal to confirm the bell rings.
Step 3: Put the counter on a board
Design a board. In PingBell, design a board with a counter block bound to your Pipedrive source.
Customize. Pick fonts and colors, and set a baseline if you want the counter to start at an existing total deal count.
Put it on the office TV. Install the PingBell TV app — it shows a short pairing code. Enter it on the Screens page at my.pingbell.io (or scan the QR) and cast the board.
Step 4: View analytics
Open the Activity page to see how often it fired — today, the last 7 days, or any range back to all-time. Useful for spotting trends in your deal velocity.
Try it
Start a free 7-day trial, wire it into Pipedrive, and the next deal that closes will ring a bell across the team.
