Using PingBell

How to receive notifications from WooCommerce with PingBell

Install the PingBell WordPress plugin — connect your store with a short code and the webhooks wire themselves.

Install the WordPress plugin

  1. Install PingBell for WooCommerce from the WordPress plugin directory and activate it.
  2. The plugin sends you to PingBell with a short connect code. Sign in (or sign up — it’s the same email-link flow) and you land on a Connect your store page.
  3. Tick which store events should ring the bell — new orders powers both the order count and revenue; completed orders and add-to-carts are there if you want them — and click Connect store.
  4. Done. Your WordPress admin picks it up from there and wires the webhooks by itself. A source is created per event you picked, named after your store.

From there it’s the usual spine: the counters are ready to drop onto a board, and any paired screen can show it.

Test it

Place a test order in your store — the bell rings, the counter ticks, and the event shows on your Activity page within seconds.

Prefer Zapier?

WooCommerce also has Zapier triggers. Create a source in PingBell, and in your Zap use the PingBell action with your API key.
